Infact, I hate how almost every cinema nowadays is alienating 2D from cinemas.
The adverts say “2D in selected cinemas”. No, it should be 2D in EVERY cinema.
Yes, I know you’re trying to push 3D, but 1: it doesn’t need to be in EVERY movie (the recent 3D version of Battle Royale just sounds stupid), and 2: what about the people who don’t want to spend the money on the extra unnecessary feature? It very rarely enhances a movie.
I’ve probably watched 127 Hours a few times, and the arm scene near the end is still one of the hardest things I have ever watched.
Yeah, the story was a bit weak, but Immortals was a very pretty movie. Had some good action too.
