Am I the only person optimistic about if Francis Lawrence accepts directing Catching Fire?
Directors have come out with absolute surprises sometimes. Plus, the movie’s not out until November next year. Anything could happen.
So Gary Ross isn’t coming back for Catching Fire.
Personally, I’m not fussed. He did good with THG, but if he doesn’t want to be tied down to the franchise, it’s understandable. Plus, it’d be nice to see how another director handles the material.
And I’ll just be glad to see it as a movie.

The ending? In ways, a little under-whelming. But an okay ending to a pretty good series.
